3rd Grade Math for Success
How to Increase Your Hourly Worth
“To make 10X possible,” Dan Sullivan says, “You must focus on expanding your time freedom. As your time becomes 10X more valuable, you increasingly multiply the money you earn.”
That means increasing your hourly worth – both practically and conceptually.
It all starts with this CB harsh truth:
Making more money is 3rd grade mathematics.
If you’re making $250,000…
And working 40 hours a week
For 50 weeks of the year
That’s 2000 hours
You earn $125 an hour.
For those of you that only made it to 2nd grade math…
To get your hourly worth…
Divide your annual personal income by 2000.
You’re welcome.
Let’s keep going with this lesson…
Now here’s where the magic happens…
If you earn $125 an hour on AVERAGE, that means sometimes you are earning $250+ and sometimes you’re making $10 or less
That’s why making more money and working less is simply a matter of 3rd grade level mathematics.
If you simply stop doing all tasks that are “$50 an hour or less” …
Immediately your average hour goes to $150…
And your annual income immediately goes up to $300K
Freaking magic.
But wait, there’s more…
Next, start doing more $1000 an hour tasks…
Now your average hour jumps to $250…
And your income shoots up to $500K
We’re on a roll.
So let’s keep going.
Hack away all the $100 an hour or less tasks…
Develop more high-income skills and add $2,500 an hour tasks to your day
Because if you want to be a millionaire…
Any 3rd grader could tell you that you just need to get to $500 an hour for your hourly worth
Reminder: Multiply your hourly worth by 2000 to get your personal income
$500 * 2000 = $1,000,000
Money Math class dismissed.
You may now join the other 3rd graders eating their boogers.
Seriously though…
If you want to be a millionaire, you must live like a billionaire and drop middle class habits
Living like a billionaire = Increased hourly rate
Middle class habits = $0 hourly rate
I made a new video about how to give up middle class habits and build millionaire habits
