Tech

Career

Free pass to go shopping from Google Ventures. Designing a website? First, put yourself in your customer’s shoes. What steps would you take before clicking add to cart? A question Google Ventures Michael Margolis answers every day. Margolis’s job is to distill the buying process of a customer so businesses can create websites people want to buy from. He’s found 5-steps every customer goes through, see if any of these feel familiar.

Personal Development

Who’d have guessed procrastinating is how you stop procrastinating? Like cheat meals in your diet, planned binge procrastination sessions seem to be effective. The interview is loaded with valuable stories about entrepreneurship, how to succeed as an employee, and my favorite piece of advice Mark shares, a story about the greatest negotiation he’s ever taken part in.
