Accountability Will Save You From Your Demons
Thank you for your help on Tuesday night. You saved me from a lot of headache, embarrassment, and regret.
Let me set the scene…
It was after a hard days work at the office of my Early To Rise business in Denver, and 10 of us went out for dinner at one my favorite restaurants, Ocean Prime. Drinks were ordered all round…but not for me. Bottles of wine came with dinner…but none for me.
Bread and deep fried appetizers were shared…but none for me. A few guys even ordered Peanut Butter Pie, but of course, none for me.
Don’t get me wrong, I had a great dinner of sea bass, a baked potato, roasted brussel sprouts, and sauteed spinach (all with a little olive oil). It was delicious, and I woke up feeling fantastic the next day (unlike most of the other guys).
I was able to stick to my eating plan because of my Accountability to You.
I promised you that I would stick to no more than 1 drink per dinner, and that night I had none, all thanks to know that I had to report to you.
I promised that I would stick to my diet plan for a healthy gut (no grains, no dairy, just one drink per evening), and I have, all thanks to YOU.
I also promised you no more night-time binge eating eating (my diet demon), and I’ve done that, thanks to having to report to YOU.
That’s the power of Accountability, and why YOU need to find an accountability partner in your life. You need to check-in with someone each day and admit what you did wrong, and boast about what you did right.
It’s one of the 5 Pillars of Transformation
Success (along with planning, social support, an incentive, and The Big Deadline). With those, you will WIN.
Just like I did. So thank you. I look forward to having you hold me accountable when I need deliverance from temptation in many upcoming situations, such as the Superbowl, many more business dinners, and at the seminars I have planned for February and March. Knowing that YOU are there “by my side” will make taking the RIGHT decisions much easier.
And when you do the same, getting accountability and support, along with all of the other Pillars of Success, you will FINALLY succeed. So be proud of yourself, get connected, have someone hold you accountable, take action, use my workouts, and do everything you can to stay on track.
Thank you for your accountability,
